An old friend of mine, a creative friend of mine, sees the beauty in the small things. She started collecting pictures of ordinary objects that are in the shape of hearts. After I viewed her collection, I started seeing hearts everywhere! What a lovely way to brighten your day…keep your eyes open, you never know what you might see!
“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.” –Oscar Wilde
Papillon. Every faux french lady needs a real french dog. Chloe.
There was a morning dove living in our flower box. It was sweet watching her eagerly await her babies arrivals. She had three litters of eggs, it was amazing. She spent the entire spring in our flower box. We got to know her, and she knew us. Everyday I would peek in on her to see if her eggs had hatched, or if that round of babies had left the nest yet. Well, she moved out the other day. Leaving her last two babies of the season there, while they readied themselves for their first flight. This is a photo of the last baby, who was gone a few hours later. Goodbye doves, we will miss you! However, now I get to plant my herb garden!
A gift for my daughter from her great auntie. She already loves them. How can you not? There is one in every size!
I imagine that I can play a variety of instruments with ease. It seems that I can immediately compose the most wonderful songs from whatever musical toy I can get my hands on. I must be some kind of musical genius! My guitar strongly disagrees.

“Ooo. you make me live
whatever this world can give to me
It’s you, you’re all I see
Ooo, you make me live now honey
Ooo, you make me live
You’re the best friend
that I ever had”
This little guy was chilling out on my front door…and didn’t mind that my daughter was banging on the window while we were observing him. How sweet of him to let me take his picture.

It seems as though we have either a beaver or a groundhog that likes our Mulberry tree! He visits everyday, and drives the dogs nuts. He is very timid though, so the pictures are blurry since he must have sensed my camera, and scurried to the way back of the yard. I will be looking for him again, and hopefully replace these pictures so we can see him more clearly.
Happy feet…my daughter is on the move! I can’t even capture a picture of her petite toes.

My flowers make me happy.
Our little gnome rests here during the day…but at night…he does all of the gardening! He keeps it looking tip top, I must say.
These are my most favorite boots! I keep them in my foyer, nestled in near the basket of pine cones, so that I can look them every single day.

Due to the adolescence of Stars On Strings…I have not yet added any more images to my collection. I am working hard on collecting some for you to enjoy…so keep checking in on the site! Thank you for reading!
